Small Group Goalkeeper Training
Focused technical training in small groups – the fastest way to develop a reliable keeper.
The goalkeeper is one of the most important positions on the field. Unfortunately, for many different reasons, the goalkeeper historically gets the least amount of training or attention in practice. For a team to be truly successful, the keeper needs to be someone the team can rely on – and individual goalkeeper training is essential.
Our small-group sessions keep the coach-to-keeper ratio low so every athlete gets meaningful reps, immediate feedback, and a progression plan matched to their age and level.
What's included
- Low coach-to-keeper ratios for maximum touches
- Technical foundations: handling, footwork, diving, distribution
- Situational training: crosses, breakaways, shot-stopping
- Progress tracking based on data, not assumptions
Four aspects of the game
Our small group goalkeeper training sessions help goalkeepers grow in four key areas of the game.
Mental
Finding supportive ways to respond and decide what to do after a mistake or during a high-pressure moment. Every keeper experiences these moments differently, and our coaches support each player’s development by keeping those individual needs in mind.
Tactical
Learn the fundamentals every coach expects, along with the specific style of play your coach wants you to follow.
Physical
Helping players connect their physical abilities with the technical demands of goalkeeping so they can become the best version of themselves.
Technical
Once players have mastered the fundamentals, they can develop a technical style that’s uniquely their own. Our coaches tailor their approach to support each player in becoming the best goalkeeper they can be.
